Welcome to OnTECH Charter High School. Thank you for partnering with us to best serve your child.

If your child will be absent from school, please call the office or email attendance@ontechcharter.com by 8:30 a.m. Otherwise we expect to see you. Attendance is necessary to becoming college and career ready and earning the credits to obtain your high school diploma.

There are many ways to provide us your feedback so we can best serve you:

Join us at our monthly family council meeting (the first Wednesday of every month)
Take our school survey
Keep your email and phone number current so that you receive our regular communications
Access Power School so you can see grades and attendance in real time.
Schedule to come in (on any Thursday) to meet your child’s teachers

Bus Schedule

OnTECH prioritizes safety! We made a decision to use yellow buses this year and not take Centro. We made this decision because the stops are closer to our homes. In addition the yellow busses are not open to the public. Please see the bus routes attached for the stop closest to your home. If you did not get a letter from the SCSD on your stop, please call the main office. We will help you route your child to and from school. Please prioritize having your child get good rest every night and getting to school on time.

Dress Code Policy

The teachers have put their heads together, and we have had the opportunity to listen to many of your great ideas. We have come up with a dress code that we feel supports the goals and mission of OnTECH. Please take time to read through this document and to discuss it as a family. You might find it helpful to answer the provided questions together. We believe that follow up discussion and critical thought are just as important as the dress code itself!

School Supplies List

Much thought has gone into exactly what school supplies we need to purchase in order to be successful at OnTECH. Have you ever struggled to find every item on the list, only to never use it during the school year? We have. Not only is it frustrating, but it is also a wasteful way to manage our financial and natural resources! To save resources, support your learning and teach you necessary technology skills, you will be borrowing an OnTECH laptop for your exclusive use as a member of our community. This will eliminate the need for many traditional school supplies, however, posted on the portal please find the list of school supplies that we would like you to purchase by the first full week of school.
